Here are a few salient facts about our beautiful parish: 

The parish was canonically erected on 28 July 1993 by Archbishop Adam Exner OMI. The present pastor, Father Ashley, oversaw the purchase of the property on which our parish stands in the 1980s when he was the pastor of St Ann’s, Abbotsford. Included in the purchase was St James & St Ann’s Elementary School, of which Father Ashley is the founding pastor. Archbishop James Carney, Archbishop of Vancouver at the time, was overjoyed at the purchase and gave his full consent to it.
